Friday we left Portland for our trip to Europe. Bright and early, I was feeling so excited to finally have a vacation. Then I saw the news about Roe vs Wade. On the way to the airport, I became so sad, and angry and just devastated about this horrible decision, one that will have staggering effects on so many women, especially WOC.

After 7.5 hours in the air, we arrived at 6am in Iceland, then headed straight to the Blue Lagoon. Wow, did I need that two hour soak, and just a little joy.

So here’s me smiling in the blue mineral waters, regenerating and healing, and dreaming of a radically different world. ✊🏽💞

It feels like summer just happened overnight here

It feels like summer just happened overnight here in Portland. We’re so ready for it, and vacations!

I’m heading on an inspiration trip to Spain & Portugal tomorrow, with a pit stop in Iceland. We planned this in 2020, and it’s been a long awaited dream vacation. My bag is packed and I am ready for some down time, and 💃🏽 and 🌞!
