We are excited to welcome in Alice Kendall for an art show featuring her latest work, including ceramics!

I have been a big fan of Alice and her beautiful botanical artwork for many years, in-fact it adorns both of my forearms. I love the details she put's into each piece, both fine and body art.

Join us for an artist reception on Friday night February 3rd from 6:30-9pm. We'll celebrate Alice and her work with herbal mocktails and light snacks, as we adore her pieces and her! Hope to see you then!

More about Alice:

Alice has been creating art since early childhood, and in 7th grade developed a strong interest in painting. She continued her passion into college, and while living in San Francisco, she bought her first tattoo equipment (through an ad in the back of a tattoo magazine) in 1993. Her first tattoo instruction came from the “Tattooing A to Z” book included in her “tattoo kit”.

In 2000, Alice moved with her family to Portland, Oregon to pursue a tattoo apprenticeship with Amanda Myers at Infinity Tattoo. Once licensed, she went on to work with Infinity until 2013.

Alice opened Wonderland Tattoo in 2014, in SE Portland. Since then, Wonderland has become known for its dynamic botanical and nature themed tattoo work. Wonderland has won “Best of Portland” in the Willamette Week several years in a row and has a loyal client base and following. Alice continues to paint in watercolor and acrylic alongside her tattooing and often tattoos the paintings she creates and vice versa. Science and nature based themes are always Alice’s biggest inspiration for all the mediums she works in.
