A Mother’s Day Workshop—Japanese Shibori May 8th, FROM 5-8PM

Shibori is a Japanese technique that dates back to the 8th century. Shibori is a process that includes a series of folding, twisting, and binding textiles. The textile is then submerged into a plant based indigo dye. The results are unique and beautiful.

Join us as we Make & Mary with other craftspeople in our outdoor courtyard. We’ll provide all the necessary materials and guidance, along with herbal mocktails.

FILL FREE TO BRING YOUR OWN WHITE GARMENTS, BUT WE WILL ALSO SUPPLY A TEA TOWEL AND A TOTE FOR YOU TO DYE AND TAKE HOME!

We want to create a safe and welcoming environment and will be following strict COVID rules and safe social distancing practices. Upon entry, we will be taking a noninvasive temperature reading from each guest. Guest will also need to wear face coverings throughout the session.

This is a 21+ event and attendees are invited to BYOC to elevate their experience. Space is limited.
