Make a One-of-a-Kind Botanical Dyed Pinafore Apron Using Local Plants.
In this Natural Botanical Dying Workshop, we will explore the magic of plant pigments, shapes, and patterns through botanical bundle and natural dyeing processes. Students will design their own Cotton Pinafore Work Apron using steam to release and reveal each plants’ unique color and texture. We'll also learn the art of creating natural dyes from local forged plants and more.
All plant materials for dyeing/mordants will be supplied.
