Open to Receive- Allowing to un-block energies

open to receive
un-blocking means allowing

April brings rebirth. It is a time to celebrate the Earth, and to be present in our conscious choices. It's also a time to receive the beauty blooming all around us, and to emerge in this new cycle of the season. But sometimes un-raveling needs a little push.

What often stops people from being open is an impeded flow of energy in their heart chakra and/or meridian. As an organ, our heart is responsible for pumping oxygenated blood through our system, and providing oxygen and nutrients throughout our physical body. In fact the heart sends more messages to the brain than the brain does to the heart.

When we Allow ourselves to be open to receive, we let, we permit, and we imply granting.

Studies have shown that our heart emits more energy than our brain.

Metaphysically the heart is considered as the Spiritual center of the body.  It relates to love, acceptance, calm, peace, trust, forgiveness, radiate, free flowing and circulation.

When the heart energy is flowing a person has openness, is loving, they are engaging, it feels good to be around them, they are empowering and happy of others, they see the blessings and have acceptance of everything.

If the heart energy is blocked then a person can be fearful, condemning, frustrated, impatient, intolerant, distrusting, negative, dis-empowered and competitive. Their focus will be on what is lacking.

The best way to be open to receive is to ensure your heart energy is flowing and communicating. Here are a few practices you can do to cultivate an open heart to receive and un-block your energy so that energy is flowing abundantly.

I recommend saying out-loud— I commit to receiving, I allow receiving with in. You can get more specific on what you want to receive too.

Cultivate Sacred Connections: Nurture relationships that enrich the spirit, fostering connections that resonate with compassion and understanding, igniting the divine spark within.

Embrace the Present Moment: Surrender to the divine flow of the universe, embracing each moment with mindfulness and reverence, knowing that within the present lies the key to spiritual awakening.

Connect with Movement: Embrace exercises like yoga or dancing that honor the body's rhythm, fostering a harmonious flow of energy within the heart.

Nourish with Intention: Choose foods that resonate with vitality and nourishment, infusing meals with love and gratitude for their role in sustaining the body's sacred temple. Drinking herbal teas, like The Empress Tea infused with these properties can also be helpful.

Embrace Serenity: Embrace stillness through meditation, allowing the heart's whispers to be heard amidst the tranquil sanctuary of the soul. A good soundbath is one of my favorites.

Radiate Love: Let love be the guiding force, emanating from the heart's center and enveloping all beings with its boundless warmth and healing energy. Taking a morning ritual with Cacao or being in a Cacao Ceremony with others amplify this heart warming and opening. Working with herbal remedies like our Mush Love or Mush Bliss can be wonderful daily allies to promote heart opening and strengthening too.

Celebrate Joy: Dance in the rhythm of life, allowing laughter to echo through the chambers of the heart, infusing every beat with the lightness of pure joy.

Seek Divine Guidance: Surrender to the wisdom of the universe, seeking solace in the embrace of divine love and guidance, knowing that within its sacred embrace, all paths lead to healing and wholeness.

Breathwork: Breathwork is a powerful tool for opening the heart and connecting with its energy.

A simple breathwork practice to facilitate heart opening

Find a Comfortable Position: Sit or lie down in a comfortable position, allowing your body to relax and unwind.

Deep Belly Breathing: Begin by taking slow, deep breaths through your nose, allowing the breath to fill your belly. Feel your abdomen expand with each inhale, and gently contract as you exhale.

Focus on the Heart Center: As you continue to breathe deeply, bring your awareness to the center of your chest, where your heart resides. Visualize a warm, glowing light radiating from this area.

Inhale Love and Compassion: With each inhale, imagine yourself drawing in love, compassion, and gratitude. Feel these emotions filling your heart space, expanding with each breath.

Exhale Tension and Negativity: As you exhale, release any tension, stress, or negativity stored within your heart. Visualize it dissipating into the air, leaving behind a sense of lightness and openness.

Repeat and Relax: Continue this rhythmic breathing pattern for several minutes, allowing yourself to fully immerse in the sensation of opening your heart and connecting with its energy.

Express Gratitude: Before concluding your practice, take a moment to express gratitude for your heart and its ability to love and connect with others.

Close with Gentle Movement: When you're ready, slowly transition back to a seated position and gently move your body, perhaps stretching or gently massaging your chest area. By practicing this breathwork regularly, you can cultivate a deeper connection with your heart center, promoting feelings of love, compassion, and inner peace.

In embodying these spiritual practices, one can awaken the divine essence within, allowing the heart to become a vessel of love, compassion, and divine light. Open to receive freinds.
